Italian by birth, I love the ‘bella vita’, I’m smiling, enthusiastic and I love my job as a guide. I’m lucky enough to be able to take my groups to some of the most beautiful places in my country and share with them my knowledge and love of the mountains.

— Very enjoyable tour to see the essential highlights of this magnificent area. We enjoyed the base camp arrangement that enabled us to not spend too much time packing and unpacking, and that allowed some to opt out for a day.

— Willy was awesome! The trip was great despite the weather not always co-operating. What would have made this trip better? better timing of the meals. The hotel was great, staff great, food was awesome, but the timing was horrendous for a hiking trip. Considering we had to be ready to get on the transfer at 8am and breakfast only starting at 7:30 (they did make an exception for us and started at 7:15) was ridiculous!!! We couldn't even get coffee before hand. Who can wake up, eat , digest , properly use the washroom facilities so we don't have to dig cat holes on the trail in 25 minutes? esp when we are travellers with Jetlag??? Then we come back from hard hiking all day (8am leave and come back at 4-5pm), starving and tired and now we have to wait until 7:30pm to eat? That when we all want to be winding down , digesting our food so that we can get a good night sleep for the next big hiking day. The meal schedule was made for tourists sightseeing , not people who are doing hiking, trekking or climbing. Breakfast should have started at 6-6:30am and dinner served at 6-6:30 pm.
Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the trip, the hotel, the food and especially Willy’s guiding.
We understand your frustration with the meal times, which were not well suited to the rhythm of a hiking trip. We’ll share your comments with the hotel and our team. We hope to see you again on the trails!
