Choosing Queyras means opting for a mountain in its pure state, far from the crowds of the major massifs. This territory of the Southern Alps is renowned for its dry and sunny climate, which enhances its varied landscapes and remarkable biodiversity. Here, trekking takes on its full meaning, whether on the mythical GR58 (the Tour of Queyras) or on less frequented balcony paths. You will cross villages with unique architectural heritage, such as Saint-Véran, and discover a generous nature that makes each day of hiking a privileged moment.
Adventure in Queyras is experienced according to your wishes. Our self-guided hikes are designed for independent walkers wanting to progress at their own pace. We take care of all logistics: booking accommodations, transporting your luggage and providing a detailed route booklet so you only have to enjoy the trail. For those who prefer to share their experience and benefit from the expertise of a region specialist, our group treks are led by passionate mountain guides who will reveal to you the secrets of the local fauna, flora and history.
The summer season is ideal for exploring the numerous trails of Queyras. From classic circuits like the Tour of Queyras independently to more challenging itineraries following the Great Crossing of the Alps (GTA), there is a hike for every level. This is the opportunity to discover emblematic natural sites such as Mirror Lake or Agnel Pass at the Italian border.
When snow covers the peaks, Queyras transforms into an exceptional playground for Nordic activities. Far from the hustle of major ski resorts, discover the silence of the valleys during a snowshoe stay in Queyras, or perfect your technique on groomed trails during a cross-country skiing getaway. These stays are another way to appreciate the light and peace of the massif in winter.
With its accessible trails and playful landscapes, Queyras is a perfect destination for a family adventure. We offer stays adapted to the pace of children, combining hiking and nature discovery. Share special moments during a winter expedition with family and create shared memories at the heart of a welcoming and preserved mountain.

— A lovely loop with a particular favorite being the St. Véran–Chianale leg; we loved the stopover inns (Les Gabelous, L’Ancolie Bleue, Pramourel) for their warm atmosphere, great food, and very comfortable rooms. We weren’t as fond of the picnics (from the hotels) with cheeses that weren’t regional at all (Brie) and were pre-packaged in plastic—it’s a shame in a region like this. Overall, as far as the hiking goes, there were too many downhill sections; we didn’t love having to walk downhill so much every evening. Something to think about for next time.

— The whole group was delighted with their stay in the Queyras: highly professional guides (Jemma and Christophe) who listened attentively to our needs, hikes in a number of very different Queyras valleys that suited our level of ability, a quality family-run hotel offering a warm welcome and excellent meals, and minibus transport with punctual drivers who drove impressively on the narrow mountain roads. And, after a rainy first day, we had nothing but sunshine and mild temperatures, allowing us to take full advantage of the panoramic views of this beautiful region. A wonderful week!
