Between land and sea, where the Rhône meets the Mediterranean, stretches a land of character and light: Camargue. We invite you to explore it in an active and immersive way through a Nordic walking stay, ideal for immersing yourself in its wild landscapes and authentic culture. At your own pace, you will discover a mosaic of natural environments shaped by water, salt and wind, where people have learned to live in harmony with powerful nature.

This accompanied journey in France is designed as a star pattern from Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, allowing you to discover a new facet of this territory each day without changing accommodation. You will walk along long sandy beaches, follow ponds populated by pink flamingos and hundreds of other bird species, and follow the paths along dikes between marshes and salt marshes. The route will also lead you to discover iconic sites such as the medieval town of Aigues-Mortes and the Pont de Gau bird park.

Of an accessible level for everyone, this stay is a true invitation to disconnect. Guided by a regional expert, you will learn or improve your Nordic walking technique on varied terrain, while discovering the traditions of the manades, the history of the gardians and the wealth of a unique ecosystem in France.

Mosquitoes are part of the landscape and should not be underestimated (creams and protections recommended all year round).

Mild and sunny all year round, which can be very windy in case of Mistral winds, autumn freshness. This is wild and uncultivated nature. Mosquitoes are part of the landscape and should not be underestimated (creams and protections recommended all year round).

Nordic Walking is a natural health discipline with multiple benefits. Originally designed as a summer training form for cross-country skiers, this activity quickly became democratized. For 30 years, the Finns have considered it a “beneficial gymnastic activity” In the meantime, it has already conquered half of Europe. Its learning is simple and its benefits immediate. The use of specific poles actively relieves joints and gives a new boost to walking. The poles, made of carbon fibre, equipped with ergonomic straps, facilitate movement; you make efforts despite yourself and you go faster, further, higher. Nordic Walking, gentle fitness, is for everyone and particularly for people wishing to resume physical activity because it ensures good posture in all circumstances. The muscle work is more complete than traditional walking; it tones the figure and supports spinal column maintenance; it straightens the bust and muscles the arms and shoulders; it increases calorie expenditure while relieving tension. Breathing and oxygenation improve day by day.
