Denmark is an ideal destination for cycling enthusiasts, with well-maintained cycle paths that cross the country from north to south and follow the Baltic coast. Whether you have a few days or longer, Denmark’s cycling routes offer a wide variety of landscapes, from picturesque villages to historic towns. The route is often flat, making it perfect for **families** or groups of friends who want to enjoy a cycling adventure at their own pace.
Cycling from the capital, Copenhagen, you can discover iconic sights such as the cliffs of Møn or the beaches of Skagen, all the way to the small fishing ports in the south. Accommodation along the route ranges from comfortable hotels to welcoming campsites, offering a well-earned break after a day of exploring. Maps and detailed information will help you plan each day of your trip, with local lunches to savour along the way. Denmark is also known for its welcoming culture, ensuring a warm reception in every town and village you pass through.
To enrich your experience, explore our cycling holidays in Croatia or our cycling tours in Spain. Discover the charms of Portugal’s wild coast by bike or the cycling routes in the Czech Republic. For adventure lovers, our tours in Scandinavia await, with even more to discover.

— It was nice, but the difficulty level was very misleading.

— Very beautiful scenery all along the route—it’s quite varied. The Cyclades bike trails are very good in Germany and Denmark. This type of trip with luggage transport is more suited for seniors (young people carry everything on their bikes), and the stages are too long. Taking the train with your bike isn’t a pleasant solution either.

Marie Line 9/28/26 • From Berlin to Copenhagen
— Beautiful routes, magnificent scenery, and high-quality hotels and bikes. However, the stages are uneven in terms of distance and are often long. Ultimately, the 600 km are spread over 9 days, when they could be spread over 10 or 11, which would make the trip more enjoyable because it would be less strenuous. Also, keep in mind that the towns we arrive in aren’t always particularly interesting.

— A wonderful week discovering the Fionie Islands. With rain, sun and wind! We really enjoyed discovering this region. Well-structured, well-balanced trip. Weak point: city bikes not suited to this style of route.
