Trekking in the Alps for 4, 5, 6 or 7 days offers a rewarding experience, combining physical challenges, cultural discoveries and immersion in nature. Each day, the itinerary gives you the chance to discover majestic peaks and cross picturesque valleys dotted with sparkling lakes. The varied elevation changes along the alpine trails will delight both hiking enthusiasts and experienced trekkers. High-altitude mountain huts provide an authentic setting for each night, allowing you to set off refreshed every morning to tackle the passes and peaks.

For culture enthusiasts, some routes pass close to charming alpine villages where history and traditions live on. Over a weekend or longer, exploring these trails offers breathtaking views of the peaceful mountains from North to South. Before your departure, it is essential to prepare your trek carefully with a detailed map and consult our expert guides.

If you would like to explore other activities or destinations, discover our treks in the Massif Central, hikes in Iceland, treks in Corsica, hikes in the Pyrenees, or our walking holidays in the Chartreuse. For those who prefer cycling, our cycling tours in Provence are also available.

Finally, if you need any assistance, please contact a Grand Angle adviser directly.

—  I enjoyed the nature, the scenery, and the family experience!

Antoine 7/4/26

—  A wonderful timeless escape, with a small group, which made room for some nice little “extras” (like ending the first day with a small concert;-) ). Top-notch guide (advice, teaching, information about nature, the animals, food that was mostly organic or locally sourced …), breathtaking landscapes and a jackpot for photos (marmots, ibex, eagles, birds, butterflies, horses, cows, …). Long live pasta cooked on the camp stove, the Mont Blanc cream dessert and a little glass of red with cheese in a legendary spot!

SANDONA Cecile 9/28/26

—  A very well-organized trip; a chance to completely unwind amid magnificent scenery; a very professional guide who shared his knowledge of the local flora and fauna with us; and organic, locally sourced food.

Brigitte 12/27/25

—  Magnificent crossing of the Vercors on little-traveled trails, thanks to the guide. Great atmosphere!
