Choosing a point-to-point holiday means choosing to experience a region rather than simply visit it. Each day brings new horizons, new encounters and new surroundings. Unlike a holiday based in one place, travelling from place to place offers a unique sense of achievement as you make your own way from one stage to the next, whether through the mountain ranges of the Alps or along a sunny coastline in Greece, among the Cyclades, or in Italy.
Our aim is to offer you the best experience, whichever option you choose.
We offer different types of holidays to suit your appetite for adventure and your preferred activities.
Trekking or point-to-point walking is the best way to immerse yourself in a region. It means experiencing mountain trails, such as on a trek in the Dolomites, or coastal paths beside the sea in Portugal. Every step brings you closer to nature and the authentic character of the places you pass through.
A cycling holiday allows you to cover longer distances while staying connected to the landscapes around you. It gives you the freedom to follow a cycle route along a river, explore country roads or discover the Greek islands. For a different experience, some of our itineraries even combine cycling and boating, with your floating accommodation following you along the waterways.
Choosing the right season is essential. Mountain ranges such as the Alps are best explored from June to September, when conditions are ideal. To enjoy flowers in bloom and mild temperatures in Southern Europe, walking holidays in May are an excellent choice, while September often brings beautiful light and welcome tranquillity. Cycling is particularly enjoyable in spring and autumn, when you can avoid the intense summer heat.
To find an itinerary that suits you, we suggest assessing the fitness level required for each holiday (shown in our trip notes) and considering your preferences for scenery and comfort. Feel free to contact us; our advisers know these destinations well and can help you choose the holiday best suited to your plans.
A point-to-point holiday is an adventure to share. Watching your children marvel at a new place each evening is a rewarding experience. We have designed suitable holidays with shorter stages and comfortable accommodation to keep the adventure enjoyable for everyone. Family cycling, especially around Europe’s great lakes or along canals, is an excellent introduction to point-to-point travel. Discover all our family holidays in nature.
François 6/23/26 • Madeira: Hiking in an Extraordinary Garden
— Very interesting itineraries that often take you along less-traveled trails. Transportation and hotels were impeccable. A few inconsistencies between the app and the roadbook. The map showing how to get to Portela from Porto da Cruz is missing. Overall, we’re thrilled with this trip!
Thank you very much for your feedback! We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you also for your comments on the roadbook and the app—we'll look into them to improve our materials. We look forward to accompanying you on your next trip!

— Scenery was out of this world. The ascents were hard but it meant you could stop and take it all in, take your time and appreciate just what you are achieving.

Leigh Ann 7/18/26 • Tour du Mont Blanc - Guided 10-Day
— This was one of the best trips of my life!! Physically, the hiking was challenging, but doable, which was what my party was looking for. Every minute of the day, the views were SPECTACULAR!!! Literally breathtaking. Our guide took great care of us and we LOVED our 3 course meals every night in the different, fascinating cities. We also met so many fun and friendly people on the Tour. Loved it all❤️

— Great—I'd definitely do it again. However, Day 3 on the bike was a bit of a letdown; it's better to tackle the hill.
