—  This specific bike tour was not as described. I am a very fit person and, despite using e bikes, I found some of the terrain excessively challenging and dangerous. One of the trails to which we were directed did not exist and instead we were forced to navigate a very steep and rutted downhill slope in an Olive grove…with our bikes! This was the one route that our Roadbook/gps agreed we should take! Ridiculous and dangerous. Further, many slopes were so steep, up and down, we were forced to walk with our bikes which are very heavy to push! We were told these routes were checked and ridden by Grand Angle representatives. Ha! Must have been Lance Armstrong or similar(current day)!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to learn that certain sections of the route felt excessively difficult and that this affected your enjoyment of the trip.

The beginning of September was marked by unusually high temperatures in Corfu, which can considerably increase the effort required on steep climbs. Although this itinerary is designed for e-bike use and has been tested by our team, we understand that weather conditions can make some stages feel much more demanding than expected.

Following your feedback, we reviewed the route and discovered an error in one section of the GPX track. This issue has now been corrected, and we have also adjusted the difficulty grading of the tour to better reflect the level of effort required, particularly for e-bike riders.

We would like to reassure you that this tour is regularly completed by guests with varying levels of cycling experience, and the feedback we receive is generally very positive. For this reason, e-bikes are strongly recommended, as they greatly improve comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip.

During your holiday, we also arranged an additional transfer to help reduce the physical strain of the itinerary, and we hope this assistance contributed positively to the remainder of your stay.

—  We received our travel materials about a week before we departed for Greece, although our bike trip was about 12 days into our trip. The Roadbook was long and we attempted to review. After further review, we noted that one of the days was incorrect for where we would end the day. The company felt that we had what we needed due to GPS app. The Roadbook indicated elevation gain but did not show us the gain over the course of the day. The ebikes provided were not able to handle the elevation and we had to push our bikes a lot. Note that one of our group members had been training for a long road race in the USA and was in great shape. Also, GPS was not easy to use and I had to often restart the screens. On our second to last day, the GPS took us down a dirt road and said to turn left. We did and then it told us to go right and there was no trail. After a delay of about 45 minutes, we ended up working our way down a olive tree orchard with netting and steep elevation to a dirt road. From there we could find our way to our destination. Also, the GPS for several days had us going to an incorrect location for our hotel. We had to use Google maps to find the correct hotel. The response from your company was not very customer oriented during the ride - and this was disappointing.
